 USELESS Software

Montlake Software International (MSI) (a virtual company) offers a set of Windows applications free of charge. These applications come from the Unproven Software Easily Launched to Entertain Somnambulistic Scavengers (USELESS) division of the company, and are offered here simply because we don't know what else to do with them.

Each application was developed for some reason (even though that reason has often been lost to history), and although the point of "supporting" those applications on this web site is not only humorous but perplexing, we have some faint hope that someone can figure out what the applications can do or, in miraculous circumstances, offer some suggestion as to what change might result in some semblance of 'use' for said application.

At present, each application installs from our web site (Microsoft's OneClick technology), and that seems good enough for the moment. The version number is indicated on the download site, so if you have an older version, as well as some hope someone might have improved the application, you could check back occasionally for an update.

Each application also has its own support web site, and we will attempt to provide some justification for the application's existence here, as well as post any issues either its creator or users have raised. Seeing as there is neither user manual nor resident help for any of these applications, this will also be the place for very minimal instruction in how one might use the application.

Good luck.
